Fees

$200 per 50 minute session

Intensive sessions are available upon request.

Intensive therapy sessions are extended meetings, lasting between 3-5 hours for either one or two days. Scheduling an intensive is a way to quickly create change; it allows us time to do deep work in days that would otherwise require multiple separate meetings, over many weeks. Intensive work is suggested for individuals or couples who's schedule does not accommodate regular appointments. Intensive therapy is also an excellent option if your relationship is in crisis and you do not want to be in therapy for months before seeing changes.

I do not accept insurance and can provide reimbursement paperwork for out-of-network services. If my counseling fees are a barrier to seeking services, please consider contacting me for referrals. After a short conversation regarding your therapy needs, I will gladly provide names of therapists who take insurance or accept sliding scale fees.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is sex therapy?

Sex therapy is talk therapy, designed to help people explore and learn about their personal experience of sexuality. Sex therapy includes both a biological understanding of human sexual behavior and function, as well as the nuanced complexities of eroticism and individuality of sexual experience.

Everyone has a relationship to sex. The nature of our culture is to create so much shame and secrecy about our sexuality, that we are often deprived of the internal environment necessary to even question our relationship to sex. Sex therapy can create a safe and open space where you can come into full awareness of your relationship to sexuality and what you would like to be different, if anything at all.

If you want to experience the richness and fulfillment of an erotically charged life, I want to help you. I offer a space to learn about sexuality and specially tailored guidance through sexual concerns. I am a kink and poly/non-monogamous aware therapist, and I am affirming of all sexual orientations and gender expressions. Sex therapy can help with:

  • Partners with different levels of sexual desires

  • Healing from traumatic sexual events

  • Low desire

  • Kink/fetish concerns

  • Improving intimacy and connection

  • Out of control sexual behavior (including problematic porn use and sex "addiction")

  • Erectile Dysfunction

  • Rapid or delayed ejaculation

  • Navigating an open relationship (non-monogamous and polyamorous dynamics)

  • Anxiety

  • Disgust or aversion to sex

  • Difficulty with orgasm

  • Pain during sex

  • And many other concerns

How does couple therapy work?

Couple therapy sessions are designed to help partners talk about topics that feel stuck or too emotionally activating. Counseling gives a framework and guidance for partners to express themselves clearly and listen skillfully. Couples come into therapy for a number of reasons (premarital work, after an affair, out of control fights, loss of passion, or even to have relationship tune ups), and with the therapist’s help people create solutions to problems that were not obvious before.

Working with me as a couple will be an active experience. I work quickly to help people move out of their typical patterns with their partner, and into new ways of relating with each other.
